Hello PeerView Oncology Members,

For many of us the exciting ‘twin peaks’ of the oncology meeting season are just around the corner; I am thinking of those major congresses, the annual meetings of AACR and ASCO (both in Chicago this year). I’ve met many of you at those events and look forward to meeting many of you again this year. I mentioned this recently to an oncologist friend who lives in the Washington D.C. area (let’s call him Jacob) and agreed that meetings such as ASCO and AACR generate a great deal of excitement, and that he in particular looked forward to parsing the evidence and trying to determine if there was anything relevant for his practice. The problems were, Jacob said, not enough time and too much science to sift through.

That’s a common point brought up by many of our members and it’s one that dovetails nicely with PeerView’s mission to be the innovative source for oncology education. Jacob also told me my answer to him was predictable (and you may feel likewise), but predictable things are often true (and I like to think it’s true in this case). We believe we can help you cut through the research to find the evidence that is most relevant for your practice, whether you are interested in advances in managing one specific tumor type (prostate cancer, renal cell cancer, head and neck cancer, among many others), cross-tumor applications of immunotherapy, or truly tumor-agnostic (and cutting-edge) approaches being rapidly developed (such TRK fusion inhibitors).

See below for more information, including for both upcoming live events at ASCO and AACR, as well as on-demand versions of recent live events. I don’t like to make predictions too often but I can say you will find our programming is here to serve you and your educational interests–happy learning!
